NEXT LEVEL ACADEMY TRYOUTS 2026
Next Level Academy is holding its annual tryout for NEW players for the 2026-2027 Academy Program on the dates & times listed below. A player only needs to attend one tryout date. Register for the one tryout date that fits your schedule and make sure to sign up for the appropriate birth year.
ABOUT NEXT LEVEL ACADEMY (NLA)
Next Level Academy is a 10 month technical soccer training program (August 2026-May 2027) for rising U7 – rising U13 boys and girls. NLA has been the leader in player development for 26+ years providing the highest level of technical skill training. The NLA coaching staff’s unique, competitive, and fun training environments along with their unmatched experience within the U7-U13 age groups, has consistently prepared players for success during their most important development years. The instruction for Academy players will focus on their creativity, speed, soccer agility, and the overall player’s confidence while competing against their peers in various game-like situations. NLA training supplements a player’s club team and will not interfere with their outdoor practices, games, or tournaments.
IMPORTANT PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Next Level Academy is a 10 month commitment (August 2026–May 2027).
- If chosen to be part of the Academy program, the selected player will train once a week (day/time TBA) with their age group, unless NLA staff determines otherwise.
- In order to create the most positive and competitive training environment, the NLA staff will place each player in a training group, based on their age & level.
- If a player’s outdoor training schedule ends up conflicting with the NLA training night that they were placed in, then our staff will provide other training night options.
- All NLA Tryouts & 2026-2027 Training sessions will occur indoors at Netsports located at 3717 Davis Drive in Morrisville, NC 27560.
IMPORTANT TRYOUT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- In order to be considered for the 2026-2027 Next Level Academy Program, a player must be registered for NLA Tryouts.
- Pre-Registration is $25 and walk-ups are accepted at tryouts for $30.
- All tryouts registration is completed through Next Level’s PlayMetrics system.
- Tryouts for Next Level Academy are held on Sunday April 26th, Saturday May 2rd, Wednesday May 27th, and Friday May 29th at Netsports (see the chart below for the exact time).
- A new player only needs to attend one day of tryouts that correlates to their age group.
- Tryouts will only be held for those players that were not part of the 2025-26 Academy. Current NLA players have already been evaluated for placement into the 2026-27 Academy program.
- Register your player for the tryout with their appropriate age group. All players must try out with their rising age group for the 2026-27 season. Youth Soccer Age Groups will be based on the Seasonal/School Year Calendar in the 2026/27 season (Aug 1-July 31st)

TRYOUT REGISTRATION LINK & SCHEDULE
Registration is LIVE for Next Level Academy’s Tryouts for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 2026- May 2027). All Tryouts Registration is completed through PlayMetrics. If you do not have a PlayMetrics account, you will need to set one up through the link below. If you already have a PlayMetrics account, log in thru the link below and it will lead you to tryouts registration.
Register your player for the tryout with their appropriate age group. All players must try out with their rising age group for the 2026-27 season. Youth Soccer Age Groups will be based on the Seasonal/School Year Calendar in the 2026/27 season (Aug 1-July 31st)
