NEXT LEVEL ACADEMY TRYOUTS 2023
Next Level Academy is holding its annual tryout for NEW players for the 2023-2024 Academy Program on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 at Netsports, and Makeup Tryouts are on Saturday, April 29th and Friday, May 5th (see the chart below for the specific time slots).
ABOUT NEXT LEVEL ACADEMY (NLA)
Next Level Academy is a 10 month technical soccer training program (August 2023-May 2024) for rising U7 (2017 born) – rising U12/13 (2012/11 born) boys and girls. NLA has been the leader in player development for 23+ years providing the highest level of technical skill training. The NLA coaching staff’s unique, competitive, and fun training environments along with their unmatched experience within the U7-U13 age groups, has consistently prepared players for success during their most important development years. The instruction for Academy players will focus on their creativity, speed, soccer agility, and the overall player’s confidence while competing against their peers in various game-like situations. NLA training supplements a player’s club team and will not interfere with their outdoor practices, games, or tournaments.
IMPORTANT PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Next Level Academy is a 10 month commitment (August 2023–May 2024).
- If chosen to be part of the Academy program, the selected player will train once a week (day/time TBA) with their birth year, unless NLA staff determines otherwise.
- In order to create the most positive and competitive training environment, the NLA staff will place each player in a training group, based on their age & level.
- If a player’s outdoor training schedule ends up conflicting with the NLA training night that they were placed in, then our staff will provide other training night options.
- All NLA Tryouts & 2023-2024 Training sessions will occur indoors at Netsports located at 3717 Davis Drive in Morrisville, NC 27560.
IMPORTANT TRYOUT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- In order to be considered for the 2023-2024 Next Level Academy Program, a player must be registered for NLA Tryouts.
- Pre-Registration is $25 and walk-ups are accepted at tryouts for $30.
- All tryouts registration is completed through Next Level’s PlayMetrics system.
- Tryouts for Next Level Academy are held Sunday April 23rd, Saturday, April 29th and Friday, May 5th at Netsports (see the chart below for the exact time).
- A new player only needs to attend one day of tryouts that correlates to their birth year and gender.
- Tryouts will only be held for those players that were not part of the 2022-23 Academy. Current NLA players have already been evaluated for placement into the 2023-24 Academy program.
- Register your player for the tryout with their appropriate birth year. All players must try out with their birth year.

Registration is LIVE for Next Level Academy’s Tryouts for the 2023-2024 academic year (August 2023- May 2024). All Tryouts Registration is completed through PlayMetrics. MAKEUP TRYOUT INFORMATION
If you are not able to attend the regularly scheduled tryout on Sunday, April 23rd and want to attend the Makeup Tryout on Saturday, April 29th or Friday, May 5th, a player must still register through PlayMetrics for tryouts and choose the option to attend the makeup date of April 29th or May 5th.
