Next Level Specialty Training (ST) is the next phase in the Next Level Academy philosophy that we feel will be the ultimate compliment to our present programs. Specialty Training will provide every member willing to put the extra work in, the technical and mental guidance necessary to develop at an even greater accelerated rate. ST is tailored for the committed soccer player:

• that needs to learn how to train on their own
• that has bad training habits & doesn’t spend the time required training on their own
• that has known deficiencies in their game
• who needs guidance with their overall technique
• who needs extra repetition with a particular technique
• that needs extra touches on the ball (for extra comfort and to maintain)
• who needs help with overall confidence

Next Level Specialty Training will teach each student the fundamentals of each skill and technique required to be efficient at the game. Sessions are fun, intense, and challenging! Each player will be required to learn how and why the ball reacts in certain ways under various conditions. Because of the player-trainer ratio and the intensity of the repetitions, each player will be put under a microscope regarding technique.

Students must be currently enrolled in a NEXT LEVEL PROGRAM to be eligible to participate with the exception of Goal Keeper Training!

Next Level Academy will now provide the opportunity 1 hour a day, Monday through Thursday for students to specifically work on the deficiencies of their game under professional guidance! Every other Friday we will dedicate the day and entire session to Finishing/Ball Striking. Director NLA coaches as well as our Next Level coaches who presently play professional soccer will offer one Specialty Training session per day. There will be one group designated for Goalkeepers only. In order to be eligible for the Finishing/Ball Striking session each student must be registered to participate in at least one of the Specialty Training sessions held 2 weeks prior. Specialty Training sessions will be offered on some Saturday's as well for those who are unable to make the times during the week. Visit our website regularly to check if a Saturday session has been added to the schedule.

Specialty Training Session

Next Level ST Sessions will consist of various focus areas which your NLA Director/Trainer will devise. A focus area may be chosen in which some but not all of the ST session will be dedicated to.

Every touch on the ball is calculated and accounted for. Since training is tailored specifically to focus on the major skills and technique's needed to become a complete player this guarantees improvement in overall player confidence and performance.

Goalkeeper Training

Next Level Goalkeeper Training will cover all aspects of the position. Sessions will cover basic and advanced skills the position demands at every level. Session focus areas will be determined by your NLA Director/Coach.

Finishing/Ball Striking Session

The Next Level Finishing/Ball Striking session will be a fun and exciting way to offer our students the chance to get the repetition and quality instruction they need in order to practice the art of scoring goals. Shooting is usually the first thing everyone wants to learn, yet is the hardest to learn.

Just because someone knows how to shoot or strike a ball well does not mean they are finishers or goal scorers. Our Finishing/Ball Striking sessions will cover everything from being able to strike the ball different ways with all parts of both feet to being able to create your own shot. This is meant so each student can begin to bridge the gap between shooting and technical finishing.

In order to be eligible for the Finishing/Ball Striking session each student must be registered to participate in at least one of the Specialty Training sessions held 2 weeks prior.

Sessions will be broken up into technical and application portions. Each session will have a specific finishing focus area:
      - Volley/Half Volley
      - Striking while on the move
      - "Back to goal" reception and shot creation
      - "Aerial" reception and shot creation
      - Shot creation off the dribble
      - In-swingers / Out-swingers
      - Free Kicks
      - Heading
